This tartan celebrates the fictional Hebridean island of Fascaray, setting of the novel 'Hame' by Annalena McAfee. Its colours are drawn from the natural world of the region: sea mist grey; the eggshell blue of frozen burns; green for native pines and lichen; mauve for heather; brown for peat; and sapphire blue for summer seas.
