Commissioned by Dr Wallace Allen Shaw of Edinburgh (formerly Crawfordsville, Indiana) for Hoosiers everywhere (natives of the State of Indiana) and those who associate themselves with the State of Indiana. Recognised by Governor Mitch Daniels on behalf of the citizens of the State of Indiana. Proposed and accepted by The Scottish American Society of Indianapolis in 2005.
